What is Dalcroze Eurhythmics? Dalcroze classes are a physical exploration of technical and expressive elements of music, with emphasis on social interaction, creativity and the art of being present. These principles can be used by teachers in numerous ways, such as in teaching notation and aural skills, or developing a good tone or sense of phrase. Dalcroze is used to connect music to other academic subjects, other art forms, and to the natural world. The method engages the imagination and kinaesthetic sense and is a captivating and insightful way to discover music.

Who is the event for?

GROUP 1 - Instrumental or classroom music teachers who have little or no experience of Dalcroze Eurhythmics

GROUP 2 - Dalcroze certificate-trained teachers, who have completed 2 years of training, and may or may not be qualified.

How much does it cost?

£35 for Group 1 (10am - 1pm)

£49 for Group 2 (10am - 5:30pm)

Includes tea, coffee, snacks. Group 2 should bring their own lunch.

When is it? Sunday 22nd February The timetable is as follows:
